San Antonio Rodeo

Well, I finally made it out to the last night of the San Antonio Rodeo. There was calf wrestling, calf roping, bronc busting, barrell riding, and finally, bull riding. That was cool. I went with two of my friends and we sat up in the nosebleed section. It wasn't so bad. We could see fine but it was very steep. You didn't want to fall 'cause you wouldn't stop. But I never knew how they got the horses and bulls to buck. No wonder!!! After the rodeo, there was a concert, the whole reason for going!! Montgomery Gentry was great. Gentry even had his little girl up on stage for part of it. I will post pictures later this week.

V-Day Bust

Well, aside from the staff party, my Valentine's Day was a bust. I'm at work right now, biding time until I go home. I called my hubby earlier, just to chat, but he didn't mention anything about today. Sometimes he does it on purpose because it's expected and he hates doing what is expected. Didn't even say "I love you," not that he ever does. I really wanted some flowers at work. He hasn't done that in about 5 years, maybe more. I think we lived in Virginia at the time. He sent me 2 dozen orange roses to my work. They were gorgeous. I just wish he would do it again. Oh well. I'll go home tonight and curl up with a book. Or just fall asleep.

Orange roses are my favorite. They mean enthusiasm and desire.

Too much chocolate...

Okay, I slipped up last week. Ate to many of those little miniature Heshery bars, especially the Dark Chocolate ones. So I gained 0.6 lbs. last week. If I can just get past today (Valentine's Day), I will be fine. We have a big party at work that I have helped organize. I will be surrounded by the stuff ALL DAY!!! I will have a couple things, but I plan on sticking to fruit and such. Wish me luck!!

After visiting Marty's blog and clicking on the link to my blog, I realized that I have 2 different logins with blogspot. One for jess moore and one for jessica moore. So, when I went to my blog the other night, I logged in as jessica and found the account that didn't have a blog created yet. I'm going to delete the old blog soon.

Welcome Trenton Nathaniel

Here is my new nephew, Trenton Nathaniel. He was born on the 12th of February, was 10 lbs, 14 oz. and 22 inches long.

Okay, sorry about all of this guys, but I think I lost my last blog due to inactivity. It's been crazy and I haven't kept up on blogging. I didn't think it was that long ago. Anyone know how long it has to be inactive before they get rid of it?
